Creative Lab
An Alcheme Art Circle for
creative experimentation & connection.
Monday, June 8th
6:30-8:30pm
CANCELLED
Creative Lab is an evening of community & creativity. It’s a space for experimenting with creative expression, curiosity, and connection — without pressure to be “good” at art and be with like-minded creatives.
Elizabeth will begin with a simple guided art journaling practice to help inspire art experimentation, attune to your muse, and express creatively. Art journaling can help quiet perfectionism, support emotional expression, awaken creativity, and create space to listen more deeply to yourself through color, texture, imagery, and intuitive process.
From there, the time is open for you to experiment making art using shared supplies and materials. Follow your curiosity, experiment freely, and create whatever calls to you.
Shared materials may include:
fabric scraps
acrylic & craft paints
markers
ribbons & yarn
magazines & books for collage
embellishments and mixed media materials
This is a space to:
reconnect with creativity in a grounded, supportive environment
explore art as expression rather than performance
unwind through color, texture, and play
make new friends or bring friends and enjoy creating together
nourish inspiration and authentic self-expression
You’ll need:
(BYOC — Bring Your Own Canvas)
A sketchbook or art journal for the guided journaling portion
Wear clothes that you don’t mind getting glue and paint on
